Features and operating conditions of LEBUS grooves

LBS rope grooves are composed of straight rope grooves and diagonal rope grooves for each round of the drum, and the position of the straight rope grooves and diagonal rope grooves for each round is exactly the same. When the wire rope is wound in multiple layers, the position of the crossing transition point between the upper wire rope and the lower wire rope is fixed through the diagonal rope groove, so that the crossing of the upper wire rope is completed in the diagonal section. In the straight rope groove segment, the upper wire rope completely falls into the groove formed by two lower wire ropes, forming line contact between the ropes, so that the contact between the upper and lower wire ropes is stable. When the rope is returned, the step retaining ring with return flange at both ends of the drum is used to guide the rope to climb up and return smoothly, avoid the disorderly rope caused by the rope cutting and squeezing each other, so that the rope is arranged neatly and smoothly transition to the upper layer, and realize multi-layer winding.

The flanges of drum shall be perpendicular to drum wall at any conditions, even under the load.

The rope must be kept under tension in the process of spooling so that the rope will be crushed against groove wall. When spooling can not meet this condition,a press roller shall be used.It is generally recommended that the tension of the rope should be at least 2% breaking tension or 10% working load.

The fleet angle range should generally never be more than 1.5 degrees and not less than 0.25 degrees.

When the wire rope released from the drum goes around the sheave, the center of sheave should be over the center of drum.
The rope must be kept round, not loose, even under the maximum load.

The rope must be anti-rotation structure.
Please measure the change of rope diameter under different load.
